This 1966 Marusho Magnum is one of the highest-displacement Japanese bikes of this vintage we have ever seen. Not only is it running and all original, but there are only 5,510 miles on the clock to boot. Find it here at Savoy Vintage Cycles in Elgin, IL for $4200.

New to me, but man… that bike looks goood. I’d change the bars and rub it halfway clean, and then ride it every effin day.
As the owner of a mint condition Marusho ST500, I suggest a careful examination of these bikes before purchase. They are splendid bikes when right and superior to comparable BMWs in many ways but parts if needed are virtually nonexistent. The restoration process can be extremely difficult. Marusho geared their bikes lower than BMW and the ST500 cruises at highway speeds much nicer than our R60. This one however does look complete and is priced very fairly.
Nice juxtaposition with the Victoria Bergmeister, which actually looks a bit sleeker in layout.
Was the engine a BMW license?
Michael, the Marusho was not built under a BMW license.
